Hello, furiends. It is time for me to tell you about my blood sugar readings for the week. Before I do that, I will tell you about the antics of the latest bengal cat to join the home, Koji.
I told you yesterday that Koji opened the cabinet, and then scratched his way through a plastic bag of oatmeal. When the human went to prepare the oatmeal, a lot of it fell out of the bag. Jacey and I laughed at the human, and Koji looked very pleased with himself.
Koji is also investigating things that Jacey and I do not find all that interesting any more. He likes to knock down the trash can in the living room, and go into it. Then when he sees there is nothing interesting in there, he walks away. If only he had asked me and Jacey about it first!
It is funny, though, to see the human’s reaction to this. When Koji did it in the night, the human was startled and sat up very quickly in the bed! Both Jacey and I find this amusing.
What is best about this is that getting another bengal cat in the home does not seem to have affected my blood sugar readings badly. For the week, my blood sugar readings averaged 178. This is higher than the 151 we saw last week, but it is still an average that is very good.
I wonder if having another bengal in the home will have much of an effect on my blood sugar readings. If Jacey and I can get Koji to play more, I think it may have a good effect. Being active is likely to be able to keep my blood sugar levels down.
I will share with you my blood sugar readings next week, and it is likely I will be able to tell you funny things about Koji’s antics, too!
