October 2 Blood Sugar Readings

Hello, everyone. It is time for me to tell you about my blood sugar readings for the week. Before I do that, I have agreed to tell you all about a project the human is working on which needs some green paper things to get completed. But do not worry, it will benefit my fellow felines.

You probably know that the human is behind The Cat Cafe.  This place has sent nearly 200 felines to good homes in less than two years. It is much more popular now than it was when it opened with both humans who visit and who live here.

The human does not want the felines living there to become overwhelmed. That is why he only allows 16 people into the room at the same time. And now, because many kind humans want to see felines. a lot of humans have to wait when they visit.

The human wants to make sure that these kind humans have a nice place to sit and wait until they get in. I told him to just build it, but he told me that the humans with badges would get mad at him if he did. So he has to get papers that tell them it is okay for him to do this, and that costs many green paper things.

The Cat Cafe is looking to raise $5,000 to build the sidewalk cafe. This is good for both humans and felines. The happier the humans are while they wait, the more likely they will be to adopt. And that means more cats go home! Please contribute if you can and share if you cannot.

Now on to my blood sugar readings. This week, they were higher than they were last week. For the week, my blood sugar averaged 229. That is a little higher than the 208 we saw last week and is getting a little closer to the 250 level we want to keep my blood sugar below than we would like.

It is not a horrible blood sugar reading, however. I am sure the human will continue to monitor my glucose levels. He will do what is needed to keep them under control.

I will tell you about my blood sugar readings next week. Until then, please share the fundraising campaign for The Cat Cafe’s sidewalk seating!
