Hello, furiends. It is time for me to tell you about my blood sugar readings. I hope that all of you are nice and dry and warm. I am not happy because wet watery things are falling from the sky. That means that I cannot go outside to work on my fur tan! And this has been happening for far too long, furiends. I have been stuck inside because even the balcony is getting wet.
This is no fun. But the human tells me that I should not complain. He reminds me of when we used to live in a place where white watery things fell from the sky. That was even worse, because those things were fun to look at but they were evil. As soon as I touched them, they turned into water and they were cold!
The human promises me that sooner or later, the sun will come back out. Then I, along with all my fellow felines, can find a sun puddle and work on a good fur tan!
The wet weather does not seem to affected my blood sugar readings, however. For the week, they averaged 182. That is a little higher than the 172 we saw the week before. But I do not mind that. Remember, the human and I want to keep my blood sugar averages between 150 and 200. As long as they stay in that range, I am safe.
I am happy about these blood sugar readings, and that helps me feel better about not being able to work on my fur tan. Of course, the human and I have to continue to monitor these. But that is not too bad. It is what the human knew he had to do when he learned he was caring for a diabetic cat!
I will tell you about my blood sugar readings next week. And hopefully, I will get to enjoy some sun puddles when I do it!
