Hello, kind humans. It is time for me to tell you about my blood sugar readings for the week. I know that many of you were concerned when you saw last week’s readings. We were not happy about them either.
But this week, we are much happier. Our blood sugar levels this week were much better than the ones last week. For the week, my blood sugar levels averaged 179. That is down a lot from the week before, where they averaged 290. More importantly, we are now at a level where the humans in white coats would say that my blood sugar is being well managed!
That makes me happy, furiends. This may be one of the reasons why the human says I am being a puppy cat with him. Lately, I have insisted on being right next to him as much as possible. And now, instead of just waiting for the talking machine to start talking before I hop on the human and purr, I do it before the box starts to talk.
The human is happy that I am so interested in being close to him, but he does not like being waken up before it is time. He will look at the talking box to see what time it is. Then, if it is only a few minutes before he needs to get up anyway, he lets me sit on his stomach. If it is longer, he moves me to the side so that he can sleep for a little longer.
Sometimes when this happens, Koji sees it and wants to join in. He hops onto the bed too, and then the human has to deal with two bengals demanding his attention. And all the human wants to do then is sleep! But he knew this is what he needed to expect when he brought us bengals into the home.
