Hello, kind humans. It is time for me to tell you about my blood sugar readings. I will also share with you information about a special day for my fellow felines who do not live inside.
For the week, my blood sugar readings averaged 184. This is a little higher than the 158 they averaged last week, but I do not mind. Both the human and I are happy with my glucose levels this week. If you look at the spreadsheet, you may notice that there are a few missing readings. That is because we ran out of testing strips. The human thought we had more than we actually did, and he did not place the order quickly enough.
But we still got enough blood sugar readings to know what was going on last week. And that is why I did not swat the human for not ordering the test strips quickly enough. Also, do not tell him this, but I did not miss the ear sticks! Oh, I know they are needed, but that doesn’t mean I like them.
Anyway, on to the special day for felines who live outside. Today is Feral Cat Day. A lot of humans do not understand why there are so many felines living outside. Well, it is because some humans were irresponsible and did not get their felines fixed. And then, these felines did what they normally do and started to breed.
It is a tough life for a feral cat. True feral cats do not want to live inside with humans. They may tolerate humans, but they do not want to live inside with you. These felines need to live outside, and there are some organizations that help them. One of my favorites is Love Your Feral Felines. You could help them on Feral Cat Day by doing some shopping for them.
