October 22 Blood Sugar Readings

Hello, furiends. I will tell you about my blood sugar readings for the week soon. Before I do, I want to tell you about a kind human who can use some help with their felines.

Please Help the Human Who Rescued Frosty

I shared with you the story of Frosty the Frozen Kitten. A kind human found Frosty virtually dead on a cold winter day. But a kind human refused to let Frosty go, and worked very hard to help her recover. And this human did not stop with Frosty. They took on several other felines who needed help.

Now, helping these felines requires many green paper things. One feline was seriously injured, and required many green paper things to be spent before they left us. And there are two felines who the white coated humans are treating with unknown expenses.

The kind human who is helping these felines needs help with this. If you can give some green paper things to them, please do. Please let them know that Bagheera sent you to them, and that it is for caring for these felines. And if you cannot, please share their story so others can help.

Now, on to my blood sugar readings for the week. For the week, my blood sugar readings averaged 209. This is quite a bit higher than the 184 they averaged last week. We had a few readings over the weekend that were much higher than we like to see. But I am not too worried, because they look like they came back down to a better level.

You see, furiends, this is what the human and I must deal with all the time. Some felines are fortunate, and a diet change alone gets their blood sugar levels under control. That is not happening for me. Even with insulin, it can be tricky. But the human will work hard to make sure I stay as healthy as I can be.

And that is all a diabetic cat like me could ask for. But do not tell him I said that. He must always think I barely tolerate him.
