Hello, furiends. It is time for me to tell you about my blood sugar readings for the week. For much of the work week, it is likely that I will not be able to work on my fur tan. The human tells me that we need the rain, so I will tolerate it. But Jacey, Koji and I do not like it when we cannot enjoy sun puddles! We are southern California cats, after all. And we must work on our fur tans!
But then the human told us that if we do not get enough rain, the catnip outside might not grow as well. And then we decided that we would tolerate a few days of rain in order to enjoy catnip. We felines are known for not wanting to wait for anything, but remember this. Our wild ancestors stalked their prey for a long time before pouncing. So we can do the same with the sun.
Now on to what I wanted to tell you about in the first place, my blood sugar readings. For the week, my blood sugar readings averaged 195. That is lower than last week, when they averaged 201. And it is way below the level where my blood sugar readings will cause issues if they stay that high for a long time.
We did have two incidents of my blood sugar dropping lower than we would like. Those were mornings where I demanded noms very loudly as soon as the talking box started to talk. And when the human saw my readings, he knew exactly why I demanded my noms. But we will take these blood sugar levels.
Hopefully, next week, I will be able to tell you about my blood sugar readings without having to tell you about how the human worried about a few of them. That would make me very happy, furiends!
