Good morning, kind humans. It is time for me to tell you about my blood sugar readings for the week. It rained a couple of days last week, and Jacey, Koji and I could not go on the balcony. We did not like this. But the human told us it was too cold anyway, and we would not have enjoyed our time outside.
Koji did not listen to him and went outside anyway. The human chased Koji back inside, and Koji thought it was a game. So he started to run around the house. He finally stopped when the human threw him a toy. Then Koji rabbit kicked the toy for a bit, and got tired. He was actually panting when he was done playing, furiends!
The human reminded me that I used to do that, but I told the human that I hadn’t done it since I was a tiny mitten kitten. He smiled, and said, well, maybe you can be more like Koji. I gave him a swat for that. My brofur is a goofball and I do not want to be like him!
Now that I have told you about Koji’s antics, I will tell you about my blood sugar readings. For the week, my blood sugar levels averaged 154. This is a good level, furiends. If I went to the white coated humans with this blood sugar level, they would not even know I am diabetic!
The human does not think that will ever happen, and he thinks I will have to get insulin for the rest of my life. This is okay, though. I have learned to tolerate the needle sticks and blood sugar tests. And I know the human will do what he needs to in order to keep me healthy for as long as I live.
I will tell you about my blood sugar readings next week. Hopefully they will be good. Maybe I will tell you about some other silly things Koji does, too.
