Hello, furiends! I hope you enjoyed your weekend. The human was nice enough to let us felines enjoy the balcony this weekend. We were very happy to work on our fur tans. Of course Koji, being the silly cat that he is, decided to help the human with the plants. Koji decided the plants needed fertilizer after the human watered them. So he hopped into the planter box and peed on them!
The human just sighed and watered the plant some more. Some of the water came out of the planter box, but it is okay. Koji was just making sure the plants had all of the nitrogen they needed to grow properly. Who says we felines cannot be helpful in the garden?
The human did not like it so much when we nommed on some of the plants on the balcony and then vomited. He did not like having to clean it up. But that is a story for another day, furiends.
Now on to my blood sugar readings for the week. For the week, my blood sugar levels averaged 192. That is higher than what we saw last week, but it is not too bad. Remember, the human and I try to manage my blood sugar levels so that they average below 200.
The one thing that concerned both me and the human was that twice this week, my blood sugar levels were low enough for the human to get worried. It is one thing for them to drop to a level where the human reduces the insulin dose. But the human worries when they drop to a level that is considered hypoglycemic.
But I ate lots of noms, and my blood sugar levels recovered. So the human gets concerned when he sees that, but he does not get too worried. Hopefully, this week, my blood sugar levels will be better.
