Good morning, furiends. It is time for me to tell you about my blood sugar readings for the week. I will also tell you about some of the things that went on in the house this week.
My blood sugar readings made both me and the human a little nervous. The average for the week was 169, which is just fine. That’s a little higher than last week when they averaged 161. But that is not a big deal.
What made the human and me nervous was how my blood sugar readings dropped very low a couple of times last week. We had two readings where I was hypoglycemic. Both times, the human skipped my insulin shot. And naturally, my blood sugar levels spiked after that. We do not like these roller coaster blood sugar readings.
So while the overall average is okay, we will continue to monitor my glucose levels to see if we can figure out what makes them do this. We have been doing this for years and we still cannot figure it out.
Koji’s antics last night probably elevated the human’s blood sugar readings. He decided to do laps around the house. Normally, he only does it once or twice. But last night, he decided to do it many times. The human woke up when he heard Koji running around. And then he got mad when Koji knocked something down.
Furiends, the human did not have to scold Koji for knocking things down. Koji scared himself, and both the human and I laughed at his fluffy tail. But soon, Koji, the human, and I all calmed down and went back to sleep.

I will tell you about my blood sugar readings next week, furiends. Hopefully I have more consistent readings for you.
