Hello, furiends. I will tell you about my blood sugar readings soon. But before I do, I want to share some happy news for you. This is not about me, Jacey, Koji, or the human. But it is good news for us felines, or at least our larger cousins.
The Formosan clouded leopard was thought to be extinct after a 13 year excursion to find one failed to do so. But recently, villagers in western Taiwan said they saw one hunting goats on a cliff. And there was another report of a Formosan clouded leopard running past a scooter before disappearing out of sight in a tree.
Furiends, if this is true, this is very good news. A big feline thought to be extinct being removed from that list makes me very happy.
As for my blood sugar readings, they also make me happy. For the week, they averaged 179. That is higher than the 163 we saw last week, but it is still at a safe level. It is not so low that the human worries about me getting sick quickly. And it is not so high that the human worries about me getting sick over a long term.
Hopefully, this will continue. And I also hope the sighting of the Formosan clouded leopard gets confirmed!
