Hello, furiends. It is time for me to tell you about my blood sugar readings for the week. Some of you may be more interested in what happened this week because the human switched my insulin doses. We were seeing too many low readings, and the human did not like this.
After the switch, my blood sugar levels averaged 123 this week. That is much lower than the 177 we saw the week before. But the good news is that we didn’t see any that would put me at a hypoglycemic level.
And that is good news. There is a saying that high glucose readings kill slowly but low ones can kill quickly. So it is better to have my blood sugar readings higher than we like over me being hypoglycemic.
We had excitement besides changing my insulin doses this week. The refrigerator we had in our home finally broke down. So we needed a new one. And it was quite interesting when it arrived.
They had to take the front door down, furiends. And that was not good, because Koji ran out the door. The human went and got him, but Koji ran out again.
The human had to put Koji in the bathroom to keep him from running out. And as soon as they put the door up and left, the human let Koji out of the bathroom. He and I immediately started sniffing the new refrigerator, and we put our nose marks on it.
The human thought this was funny, and he thought it was even more funny when Koji quickly hopped onto the top of the new refrigerator to take a nap.
Well, furiends, that is all for now. I will tell you about my blood sugar readings next week. Let’s hope they stay under control.
